Electrical Engineering Manager

PowerOn’s solutions are highly customized, innovative, and technical. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent writing and content creation skills. Your technical expertise means that you have credibility, and you are able to take complex technical information, distill it, and present it in a compelling manner both to customers as well as your peers. You must also have the ability to speak authoritatively with other engineers, while your social and communication skills let you build great relationships with non-engineers and your peers.
The Electrical Engineering Manager is to supervise the electrical engineering group, participate in the recruitment of new staff in conjunction with human resources, optimization, and minimization of electrical related facility operating costs. You must also be a great listener to truly hear and understand our customer’s needs and pain points, and provide them with solutions to meet those needs.

Automation Specialist

Design and program industrial automation control systems
Create AutoCAD drawings using AutoCAD Electrical following established standards
Create BOMs and source components as required.
Develop application specific software programs for the PLC, HMI and other devices as needed
In-house testing and field commissioning of systems as required
Project manage and supervise the installation, commissioning, and start-up of control systems
Provide technical support and field service as required
Write specifications, schedules, technical reports, and budgets

Senior Automation Specialist

As a Senior Automation Specialist, you are a technical expert with proven success in a diverse range of industries. Will be responsible will have all of the responsibilities of an Automation Specialist at an advanced level. You must also be able to lead, train and mentor team members.

Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible to plan, organize, direct, and control the activities of the daily operations of the company. You will be responsible for the performance of all Department functions — Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Field/service, inventory and quality control, safety, equipment management and training. Acting on behalf of the corporation and its best interests, with an appropriate “duty of care” at all times with loyalty and supporting its views, management style and culture. Working with the Managing Director, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and best practices.

General Accountant

The General Accountant is responsible for the full accounting cycle. Establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. Is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of monthly financial reports, budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with all accounting principles.

Technical Sales Manager

To meet the challenge of this role, we are seeking a motivated, self-starter with outstanding sales experience. Candidates must have at least 5-10 years of successful experience in a similar sales environment.  Reporting to the President, the technical sales manager markets and promotes products and services to existing and new customers.  Will be working with consulting engineers, contractors, end-users, and business partners and in concert with our Engineering and Project Managers.
